What is Low Income Housing?

It is help with your rent through the Federal Government.  There are two government agencies that provide low income housing: USDA Rural Development (RD) & The U.S. Department of Housing and Development (HUD). This is done by providing rental assistance that is based on 30% of your gross income.

What is Rental Assistance?

Rental Assistance provides additional support for households with income too low to pay the basic rent.

What are Straight Rent Units?

There are several complexes that have a limited number of units that are eligible for rental assistance.  The remaining units are offered for a lower rent than the market area's average.
